Sri Anjaneya Swamiji Temple in Karachi

A famous Kshetra where Sri Rama's devotee Anjaneyaswamy appeared as Swayambhu is located in Karachi, Pakistan. Sri Panchmukhi Hanuman Mandir here has been worshiped since ages.

The field visited by RamaLocal legend says that Lord Rama along with Sita stayed here along with Lakshmi during his exile. Hindus in Pakistan visit this place every year. The archaeological study revealed that this temple was built 1500 years ago.

Swami who shines in self-realization It seems that Sri Anjaneya appeared here as Swayambhu. The Panchamukha Anjaneyaswamy idol is seen with the faces of Hanuma, Narasimha, Adivaraha, Hayagriva and Garuda. This eight feet tall idol gives shelter to the devotees. It is a deep belief of the devotees that if they do 21 circumambulations in the premises of this temple, their wishes will come true. A few years ago, development works were undertaken in the temple.During the excavations of the temple premises, many ancient idols have been unearthed. These were installed in the temple premises.
